One of those commercials about the wimpy California cows came on today. You know - the ones about the cows that don't know what snow is and just take it easy all day. My normal reaction to those commercials is to get irritated. We live in Wisconsin. There are plenty of cows and dairy farms here, and some of the best cheese in the world is made in Wisconsin. It really takes some nerve for the California Milk Marketing Board to air those commercials in Wisconsin.

Then it hit me that I should really be glad they're showing those commercials here. It's not like they're going to convince anyone who lives here that California dairy products are better than Wisconsin dairy products. All they're really doing is wasting their money. If that's what they really want to do, then I'm all for it.
I guess the same goes for Anheuser Busch advertising here, though we do love to see the Clydesdales at the State Fair.
