To Plan or Not to Plan

It's really cold here. It's really cold all over the country. I usually watch Good Morning America, and there are always people visiting New York who stand outside the studio hoping to get on TV. This morning there were some people there from Australia. One of the Good Morning America hosts asked them why they were there, in New York, where it's so cold, when it's summer in Australia. They could have stayed home and stayed warm. I didn't hear their answer to that question, but I was thinking, "Good point!" Now would be a good time to visit Australia. I bet there are some decent last minute deals on Cairns Hotels where we could enjoy the warm Australian weather, hang out on the beaches, and explore the Great Barrier Reef.

Hotel.com.au helps people not only find those last minute hotel deals, but you can book up to 12 months in advance and still get the good deals. I like this idea better, because I'm not all that spontaneous and not so good with last minute deals. I'd rather plan ahead, and I'd like to know I'm getting a good deal, too. Hotel.com.au offers a 110% Best Rate guarantee, meaning that if you find a better price online, they will refund the difference plus 10%. So you can be confident you're getting the best deal when booking through them, whether you plan your vacation or wait until the last minute.
