Oh, I am Good
I just ran downstairs to move the laundry from the washer to the dryer. I was supposed to do it before, but I forgot. I didn't hear the dryer stop. Finally I remembered, so I took the socks and stuff out of the dryer, and started moving the clothes from the washer to the dryer. I was noting how dry they were - I must've let them sit for longer than I thought. That washer certainly does spin the water out well, and then, after sitting for a while, they were practically dry and hardly needed the dryer. It wasn't until I got to the last item, a pair of Jeffrey's dress pants, that I found any moisture. I wanted to check if the spot I had treated had come clean. I thought it was really strange that the treated spot was extremely wet while everything else was so dry. It was then that I realized I had completely forgotten to start the washer!
So I took all my still-dirty clothes out of the dryer and put them back into the washer. I started it this time.

In my defense, there was this one time I put towels in the washer, and started the washer that time. Then I left for the day. By the time I got home that evening and could put the towels into the dryer, they were practically dry just from sitting there. I just thought that happened again... it just didn't take all day because they were lighter weight things.
My mom ran the washer through a whole cycle sans laundry once. Dad told her she had to load it before she started it from then on. :D
I don't think I ever forgot to load the washer, though. At least there's that.
However, I wonder how many of them did what *you* did!
:D
More than we know - I'm just the one who admitted it!
